18-24th – The weeks training overview

This week saw a mix of results. Due to a large amount of exercise on the 16/17th I decided to have two rest days to ensure the little niggles I was getting to grow in to anything bigger. My Wednesday run was nice and leisurely, Friday’s run was at a good tempo and I banged out a half marathon on Sunday and felt pretty good afterwards. 

Still had a slight little niggle on my right knee. But it seems to have fixed itself by Sunday which was nice. The groin felt good and in general the body has been adapting well to the increased mileage. However the smaller 5k runs need to start developing into 8-10k runs. And I also need to be running at a minimum of 4 times a week
